Where We Work

UCAN’s main offices are in Roseburg (about 24,000 residents) and Grants Pass (about 40,000 residents), in Southwest Oregon. Roseburg and Grants Pass are the largest communities in Douglas and Josephine County respectively. The wild and scenic Umpqua River runs through Douglas County. Josephine County encompasses the wild and scenic Rogue River. Roseburg and Grants Pass both lie along Interstate 5, with easy access to other Oregon cities located to the north and south.

Regional Hubs

Roseburg and Grants Pass are regional hubs for government, professional and retail services. They each not only have robust public school systems, they also are home to community colleges. Both feature many parks, green spaces, bike paths and walking trails, restaurants, cozy downtown shopping areas, and much more.

Gateways to the Outdoors

Besides the glorious Rogue and Umpqua Rivers, Grants Pass and Roseburg also have amazing natural wonders that are great for day trips. Nearby places to visit include:

  • 113 foot tall Toketee Falls,
  • Oregon Caves National Monument,
  • Covered bridges,
  • The Pacific Ocean,
  • Oregon Sand Dunes National Recreation Area,
  • Umpqua Lighthouse,
  • Diamond Lake and Mt. Thielsen (over 9000’ tall),
  • Numerous vineyards.
