Every March, Douglas County eateries offer special cheesy treats to help local residents jumpstart their Spring. Restaurants donate a portion of the proceeds for each item purchased to The UCAN Food Bank. Not only do residents have the opportunity to perform a Gouda deed for our community, they have the chance to win prizes by collecting passport stamps for each location visited. Passports can be picked up at any participating location.
In 2025, around 20 eateries participated in this event. Companies provide additional sponsorships that provide critical support to The UCAN Food Bank’s operations. We look forward to adding sponsors to our 2026 event. Check back in early next year for more event details!
